  2. Thanks for trying out my theme.  Included in this theme package
  3. are the wallpaper, the cursors (animated and not), the icons, 
  4. the wavs (sounds), and logos (startup & shutdown screens).  
  5. Sorry, no screensaver at this time!

  7. To the best of my knowledge,nothing featured in this theme 
  8. is copyrighted other than the original artwork and music 
  9. (which I do have permission to use).

  20. In order to use this theme you will need either MicrosoftPlus!
  21. or a similar theme manager.  Softseek has a good selection
  22. of theme manager shareware programs that work well.

  26. These programs allow ease of theme installation on you computer. All
  27. you do is open the program, click on icon with theme name, press
  28. apply and Bob's yer Uncle...all of the theme will be applied (except
  29. logos, more on that later).

  35. *This theme package should work on both Windows95 & Windows98.
  36.  
  37. *Also: the sounds were created using MPEG3 compression...if you
  38. load out the theme and the sounds do not play you will need to
  39. go to Microsoft and dowmload Netshow at:

  44. The Shad.zip file has the path as well as the directories.  
  45.  
  46. IF YOU HAVE MICROSOFTPLUS! OR THE DIRECTORIES: PLUS! & THEMES ALREADY
  47. EXIST ON YOUR COMPUTER UNDER PROGRAM FILES:
  48.  
  49. Just transfer what you find under each directory to the corresponding 
  50. directory on your computer.
  51.  
  52. In your unzipped directory, using Windows Explorer cut (or copy) 
  53. Shadbahk.Theme to your Themes directory ( it's icon has a big red 
  54. letter A on it)......
  55. C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes\
  56. Then cut (or copy) the directory Shadbahk also to your Themes directory.
  57. C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes\Shadbahk 
  58. If you move the Shadbahk directory then all included files as well as
  59. the morecions subdirectory will go as well.

  61. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE MICROSOFTPLUS! AND THE DIRECTORIES: PLUS! & THEMES DO
  62. NOT EXIST IN YOUR PROGRAM FILES DIRECTORY
  63.  
  64. In your unzipped directory, highlight (one mouse click) Plus! directory, 
  65. click on Edit (top of screen), click on copy (or cut); then highlight the
  66. Program Files directory in your C:\ drive, keep your mouse pointer on the 
  67. Program Files directory and right click your mouse, click on paste from 
  68. the popdown menu. 
  69. MAKE SURE BEFORE YOU CLICK ON PASTE THAT THE PROGRAM FILES DIRECTORY
  70. IS THE ONE HIGHLIGHTED....OR ELSE YOU WILL COPY FILES TO WHATEVER DIRECTORY
  71. IS HIGHLIGHTED!!!!

  73. When you are done your files should look like this:

  85. LOGOS
  86.  
  87. Three logos are included in this package:
  88.  
  89. logo.sys = startup logo (animated)
  90. logow.sys = wait while your computer shuts down found
  91. logos.sys = ok to shut off your computer
  92.  
  93. BEFORE YOU COPY THE NEW LOGOS PLEASE RENAME YOUR OLD ONES OR THEY 
  94. WILL BE LOST!  BEEN THERE...DONE THAT!!

  96. under C:\ you will find logo.sys - rename oldlogo.sys
  97. under c:\Windows you will find logow.sys & logos.sys - rename to
  98. oldlogow.sys and oldlogow.sys.

  100. You can leave them where you found them or create a subdirectory 
  101. called logos where you can put all your old and new logos into.  
  102. I would recommend renaming them according to what they represent 
  103. rather than using oldlogo.sys, such as: cloud.sys, cloudw.sys, 
  104. & clouds.sys. That way you know what each logo is!

  106. Copy logo.sys to your C:\ drive
  107. Copy logos.sys & logow.sys to your Windows directory.
  108.  
  109. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DELETE FILES THAT ARE 
  110. NOT LOGO"S!!!! BE CAREFUL WHEN DELETING!!!
